Serving at the Sulzbacher - July 23, 2011
The Rotary Club of West Jacksonville had another great Saturday preparing and serving meals at the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless. A dozen Rotarians and guests baked trays of turkey pot pie, tossed salad and dished out apple sauce to over 400 individuals, including many mothers with their children. The club works at the center quarterly, with the next opportunity to serve scheduled for September 24.
This is a great experience for members of the club, as well as for sons, daughters and grandchildren to participate. It is also a great way to introduce friends to Rotary by inviting them to join.
We hope to see you at the Sulzbacher in the future.
