William W. “Bill” Gay was selected for the Rotary Club of West Jacksonville District 6970 Rotary Service Above Self Award on 8/12/09. The award was presented by the District Governor, Dave Faraldo and President of the West Jacksonville Rotary Club, John Runion.

As the school year is beginning and we are ready to say goodbye to summer, join with other Rotarians on September 12th for a day on the water and a picnic lunch. This activity is open to everyone that would like to participate.

On July 25th, the Rotary Club of West Jacksonville stepped up to the challenge of selling 14,000 pounds of blueberries with only 4 days of advance notice and publicity. The Bishop Snyder Interact and Chaffee Trail EarlyAct clubs raised money in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on May 8th at Bishop Snyder High School. The clubs sponsored the “Toilet Toss”, where contestants tossed rolls of toilet paper into various decorated toilets for prizes.
