West Jax Rotary

Once a year all the clubs from our District come together to hear about the new theme for the Rotary Year 2009-2010 and the goals and objectives from our District Governor Elect, Dave Faraldo. There are break out session, like Foundation, Programs, Membership, Youth Exchange, RYLA, Interact, Club Data Base, World Community Projects and more. If you are in a current leadership role then you are expected to attend and if you are a relatively new member and want to learn more about Rotary you are encouraged to attend. This Assembly is for ALL ROTARIAN’S. So everyone is invited!

This is a quick reminder regarding the blood drive for this Wednesday, March 4. The bloodmobile will be at the Holiday Inn from 11 am to 3 pm.

In early 2008, an anonymous member of our club made a $50,000 gift to the TRF Permanent Fund. Our club is kicking off a challenge to other members to match this generous gift before fiscal year-end.
